• Q: What is the showgrounds policy on Hendra vaccinations?

• A: Horses are not required to be Hendra vaccinated anywhere on the Samford Showgrounds.

• Q: Do I need to be a member to gain access to the arenas?

• A: Yes, to use the sand arenas, yards, rounds yards and any SEG equipment (also including the grass arena) you must be a financial riding member. .

• Q: If I have current arena access can I have lessons with my coach on the grounds?

• A: Yes, but only if your coach is a current member of SEG and has a current certificate of currency.

• Q: Do coaches need to be members of SEG?

• A: Yes. Coaches must be current club members and have a current certificate of currency.

  The only exception is if the event is run by SEG, in which case Equestrian Australia’s insurance will cover the event.

• Q: Can I lunge my horse on the sand arenas?

• A: No, sorry our arena surface is not suited to lunging but we do have a lovely grass fenced jumping area and round yard that is suitable for lunging.

• Q: I've never been to SEG before, where do I park my vehicle/float?

• A: Non-Event Days - See Map A
