The club will be holding several horse management days in 2017 for more information please see the flyer below -

A reluctant loader steps boldly at SEG ‘Float Loading 101’ Clinic   Gidday folks – it’s Wally here again, reporting from SEG.  Last week my friend Al – pictured here, learnt how easy it was to step onto a ramp and check out my trailer!  Al wasn’t very confident with float loading, but after his first lesson during SEG’s new Horse Management (HM) Clinic, he made great progress without even breaking a sweat!  These monthly clinics cover a range of every day challenges we equines often find troubling and need a little extra guidance with.  The next HM clinic on Sat 15th April is our 2nd in the series of ‘Float Loading 101’ sessions.  Bring your horse if you can… or simply come along and fence sit if you can’t yet load.  Of course you could always ride down to Samford Showgrounds… or lead on foot… if it’s not too far!  Also on 15th April, our revered coach Trish will be running her famous ‘Skills Development Clinics’ for riders.  Why not attend both lessons?!!   All our sessions are exceptional value - especially for members, plus great social outings for you and your horse.   Meantime, if you’re after a bit of entertainment and inspiration, come along and see some of the exciting action at the ‘Introductory Working Equitation’ day on Sat 25th March – which was quickly sold out!    But just in case you miss that, there’s a Jump Club Clinic on Fri 31st March and Jump Club Social day on Sat 1st April.   Find out about all these activities and more on our Events page at: http://www.samfordequestriangroup.com/2017-calendar/ 2017 at SEG is shaping up to be a ripper, with excellent attendances so far, and much more excitement to come!  We sure look forward to seeing you soon at SEG – 39 Showgrounds Drive, Highvale.   Spectators are always welcome at events and friendly encouragement is free :)
