About Samford Equestrian Group
Established in 1987, the Samford Equestrian Group (SEG) is a friendly group that encourages both adult and junior riders to participate in a wide range of Equestrian sports. Our club's strategic plan aims to grow our club, develop foster equestrian talent including competitive riders, officials and coaches and improve our facilities for members and the local community to enjoy for many years to come. We have a strong and growing membership. In 2010, with the help of a generous donation from the Gilby Family and support from the Moreton Shire council, we had 4 wonderful sand arenas constructed at our grounds.

What we do
SEG hold a number of official and associate dressage days each year, as well as a number of showjumping and eventing training days. We also organise various members events, clinics and presentations to help educate and provide fun activities for all ages and experiences. These include social riding days, vet talks on horse health, feeding and property management, natural horsemanship and quadrille riding.

We are located at the Denis Goodwin Reserve (Club Grounds), next to the Samford Showgrounds, Showgrounds Drive in Highvale, Queensland. Property ID# (PIC) for DPI&F Travel Permit and Way Bill is QBPR0398.
